Welcome to Doubly Cooked! We're Garrett and Hunter Cook, a gay couple living in beautiful Oregon who share an unbridled passion for cooking and baking. What started as late-night experiments in our tiny apartment kitchen has blossomed into this collection of recipes we're thrilled to share with you.

When we're not covered in flour or perfecting our sourdough technique, you'll find us hiking the stunning trails of the Pacific Northwest, tending to our ever-growing jungle of houseplants, or being bossed around by our three cats: Mochi, Basil, and Thyme (yes, we named two of them after herbs – we couldn't help ourselves).

Every recipe on Doubly Cooked has been tested at least twice – hence the name! We believe that good food should be accessible, that imperfect is often perfect, and that there's always room for a little extra butter. We hope our recipes bring warmth to your table and joy to your kitchen.
